I've been really dying to paint lately. None of my current projects really allow for it and I had some time last night, so I went ahead and got this done. The idea itself has been bouncing around in my head for a long while, but like a lot of things, it took till now to get it out. As I've mentioned, I love Fullmetal Alchemist, but long before I got into that, I was and am a huge Trigun fan.

I think the idea for this first surfaced at Anime Expo, so cosplay was on the brain and with the big boots, blonde hair, and red coat, Ed seemed like a natural for Vash...except for the minor issue of height. Vash is rather tall and Ed...well, isn't. It seemed only right that Roy pick on him for that, then I realized: dark, misunderstood character...perfect for Wolfwood. The fact that he could light a cigarette with his alchemy was just icing on the cake And of course, Al could care less what everyone else is doing as long as he gets to play with Kuroneko

And on a sidenote, this piece is dedicated to , the single biggest Kuroneko fan I know
