Just my way of saying thank you to all of you for everything. As artists, I think we express ourselves better with pictures and with words, well, I do at any rate. A novelist would do better with words, but then, I'm getting off the subject
First of all, multitudes of thanks go out for the Daily Deviation. Granted, it's not like that was voted on or anything, but still, the support from you guys is what keeps me going, so I feel I do owe you for that. Second, that same day, I reached 50,000 page views which when I first joined up here a little over a year ago, I would have thought was an impossibility. Third, yesterday, deviant number 1000 started watching me. Now granted, not everyone who put me on a watch list is still around, but still, that's something I never saw coming and I want you to know how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you
The colors weren't chosen because of February
, they're based off a costume design I did many years ago, but I put the little heart pillow in there in reference to it. Come to think of it, they do look a lot alike. Maybe this is what she looks like after a long day on the set
"But wait," you say, "why is that little note about not being vector art gone?"
That would be because.... (insert drumroll)...this is the very first officially vectored Retro Girl!!!!
It may also be the last given the amount of trouble she put me through
No no, I'll keep working at it. There are definate advantages to working with true vectors, I just can't understand why they made the pen tool controls in Photoshop and Illustrator different, after all, they are both Adobe...
Medium: vectored in Illustrator, except for the moon and window (done in Photoshop) since I added them at the last minute.
Again, thank you to everyone for everything
