This is a gift for *Jasmeralda for being such a great friend as of late. In addition to helping me on my animation project where ever she could and providing the voice for the computer, she stayed in the lab with me until about 4:30 am even though she had to work the next day and there wasn't really anything for her to help with at that point. Not only that, but she was nice enough to drive me and my dog to the emergency vet clinic when I called her last night at 2:30 am (see journal [link]) no questions asked. Since I don't have any family livivng that close, it's important for me to be able to have friends I can count on and she really went above and beyond this last week. Thanks Jas

For those that don't know, she is a huge, and I mean HUGE R2-D2 fan. When we went to see Episode III, she had at least 3 little R2 figures on her that I saw and that's only a minute fraction of all the ones she has on her bookshelf at home. At any rate, I thought she would really enjoy a cute little chibi-esque version. It really just kindof summed up the innocent sense of glee she gets from the feisty little guy
