A stylized self-portrait. Just recently, I had to quit my job of the last 6 years to make more time for school and building my portfolio. It was the right choice, but still a hard one to make. It's like dropping your safetynet. I kept being reminded of the 1930's Hollywood hopeful taking the train out of the midwest with just a suitcase and her dreams. Well, I've got more than a suitcase, but that was the closest way I could come to expressing the feeling of change. We always talk about the crossroads in our life and I know this is one for me. I just have to do what it takes to make this a good one
Medium: Original sketch drawn over in Photoshop with the pen tool, not vectors since the lines and shapes rasterize. It is similar process, but by devart definitions, anything that rasterizes is not vector art. Details added with brush tool.
I haven't faced the crossroads in my life yet, and I don't know if I will. I can say right now that I am a very rigid person, and do not invite change with open arms.
"There is a fine line between coincidence and fate..." sorry, couldn't help quoting Mummy there
Well, she had a team of hairstylists everyday. If I had a team of people working on me everyday, I might be able to pull it off better Hmm... *makes a note on her x-mas list*
I love this picture, it reminds my strangely of the story off Anne shirley, when she first arrived by train, sitting there with hat quite like that on her suitcase

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
