Happy Birthday    Princess Leia in her Return of the Jedi Jaba's Palace ensemble because Jas thinks that costume is cool  In case you couldn't tell by the ID on her page, she is a biiiiiig Star Wars fan. She's one of the 3 people that conspired to get me to read the Timothy Zahn books  The funny thing was, I had already decided to do this piece for her b-day, and in the last couple months, she's kept on my case that I should do RotJ Leia in my retro style. What was I supposed to say, "I know, it's already being done," ? So I kept brushing her off when she'd mention it. I'm sure she was getting rather frustrated, but I'm hoping the result was worth the wait Medium: Original sketch drawn over in Photoshop with the pen tool, not vectors since the lines and shapes rasterize. It is similar process, but by devart definitions, anything that rasterizes is not vector art. Details added with brush tool. The character of Princess Leia is copyright Lucusfilm, Ltd. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
