The latest Retro Girl  A mermaid as a Retro Girl? you say? Why yes Thinking retro, I always remember these ceramic mermaids my grandparents have had hanging over their bathtub for as long as I can remember. Granted, they look nothing like this and I have no idea when they are really from, but it's more about the nostalgia  This is another piece I did the sketch for months ago, but with finishing the calendar, it got put on hold. Medium: Original sketch drawn over in Photoshop with the pen tool, not vectors since the lines and shapes rasterize. It is similar process, but by devart definitions, anything that rasterizes is not vector art. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
