Spicy and Sweet

Another food personification. About halfway through working on [link] , it occurred to me that where there is wasabi, there should be ginger. Unfortunately, I didn't have time until now to work on it. I actually don't really have time now, either, but what the heck

Really the whole design stemmed from the idea of using the sheets of ginger for the hair and the idea that I wanted a more fun look to contrast with the wasabi just like the flavors themselves contrast.

Media: Illustrator, texture created with scanned papyrus. As this uses photo texturing for background elements by definition, it does not qualify as 'vector' work.

Sorry again for the larger watermark, but as some of you know, I've been having trouble with people taking and using for auction and other such things without permission, so just a necessary evil.
