*Note: Yes, this is a mixed media piece. The base is done with dark umber watercolor pencil and wash while the color is done in Photoshop. Yes, that technically puts it under the heading of digital art, but since it looks tradional, devArt admin said to put it in traditional.*
Another concept piece done after reading Heir to the Empire. I have since finished Dark Force Rising, The Last Command, and am about 2/3 through Specter from the Past. Yeah, I guess you could say I got hooked by these books and hooked good  Winter was one of those characters I got an instant picture in my mind from the first moment she was intrioduced. For anyone who hasn't read the books (like me up until a week ago ) she is Leia's childhood friend and personal assistant. You gotta love any character with white hair, right? We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
