I know, I know, the iPod parody thing is done The last thing I ever expected to see in an iPod ad was a Gorillaz song, though. Nothing wrong with it, I've loved their music since I saw the video for Clint Eastwood 4 or 5 years ago now, but I just never pictured it becoming mainstream enough for iPod. Oh well, I've been wrong before and I'm sure I'll be wrong again

In anycase, I don't think they show it anymore, but I did like that ad. I love the song itself and I thought the rollerskates were a really nice choice. There is something very uninhibited about that song. I'm no dancer, but I hear it and I just want to get up and dance (which can be a real problem when you are driving in the car...). The rollerskates really echo that fun, free-wheeling theme. I started thinking about what if they had actually animated Gorillaz in the ad and decided this would be the next best thing.

So now, what, 5, 6 months later? Well, at least it got done. Left to right, Noodle, Murdoc, 2D, and Russel who just doesn't seem to have the same grace and balance the others do

I chose green for the background for a lot of reasons, but if there is anyone out there that wants to use this on their computer, but really really wants a differnent color, let me know. I can change it easily enough and toss it up in my scraps for you to use. I've used it quite happily for the last 6 years or so, and no, they didn't pay me to say that .
